I have lovingly upcycled a vintage pillow case into a flirty layered tea apron.
Working with vintage linens can be a bit tricky, you need to stabilize them in different ways. This one, I had to spray starch to be able to cut it evenly. There is often some light hard water staining to the linens. But if you are willing to deal with these small things, giving someones handy work a second life as a working garment is a wonderful feeling.
I wonder who embroidered this sweet pillowcase, then went to all the trouble to crochet a fine edging in tow colors.
