Just for fun this fall, some swap friends and I are exchanging home made postcards. Postage has gotten very high, so 28 cents for a postcard seems to be a bargain. We have limited ourselves to using paint, ink and stamps on recycled cardboard. What a challenge! I am so used to pulling out the drawer that is labeled "BLING" and jazzing my projects up. This card is for my second round, it is a 10x sugar box-cut down to 31/2 x 51/2-then gessoed and inked with various shades of blue, gray and beige and a cloud mask. Simple stamping in charcoal and black is the finishing touch. I wonder what my mail box will yield today...
