My SIL hosts the family Thanksgiving Day, but the Piper willna have a fridge that is not overflowing with delicious leftovers. So, we are roasting our turkey today. It is a real beauty! Free ranged, responsibly raised and slaughtered. 22lbs of wonderful goodness! The bottom photo is the stuffing-dressin-filling? Whatever you call it-it is ready to pop in the oven. Obviously we are a dressing on the outside sort of family. On the menu are garlic mashed potatoes, baby peas, the Piper's special cranberry relish and gravy. We'll make sweet potatoes to take tomorrow-and SIL always has lovely pies. My favorite holiday!
