Flounces

I'm not a big lover of ruffles. Being plus sized and generously endowed-there just is no room in my wardrobe for the extra fabric involved with ruffles. But Flounces-oh yeah! Semi circles of bias cut fabric that flips and swings when you move....I LOVE flounces! My new apron pattern consists of 3 layered flounces. It is perfect. I tried this one on, and immediately regressed to twirling around my kitchen with eyes focused on the flying skirts. Do you remember twirling as a little girl? The fuller the skirt- the better the twirl. It's what I did when I tried on prom dresses and wedding gowns. That's why I like this apron.

I am so in love with that beautiful apron, the fabrics are marvelous, and the flounces, oh my yes, the flounces!!! I'm so glad you made this and got to spin around the kitchen! I love to sew, too, so I'll look forward to reading more of your posts.
