My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. There I have said it out loud-or at least out blog.
I like the thought that it's a holiday that doesn't require gifts, or candy, or much in the way of decoration. It does require me to cook some of my very favorite things in the world. Sweet potatoes, creamed onions,dressing and tiny peas. Yes, I like the turkey, but I like it better in the following days. On Thanksgiving it is all about the side dishes!
